Peter and his wife Melanie moved to Nowra in September 2000 to become Nowra City Church’s Senior Pastors. At that time the church was 250 strong and over the next decade the church has grew to over 750 members, and greatly expanded the facilities where the church meets.

In addition to this numerical growth, the church has also seen a very significant increase in its sphere of influence, not only in Nowra, but across Australia and also in many countries where the church supports missionaries endeavours. The church locally, is very active within the community and is known for its passion for others and for the creative outworking of this passion.

Peter travels extensively throughout Australia preaching and inspiring leaders. He is also on the National Executive of the Movement of Christian Outreach Centre. Peter and Melanie have served under Ps David McDonald at Brisbane Christian Outreach Centre, a church of 2500 members, for 3 years, functioning as Business Manager and then pastoral oversight for the under 35’s. Prior to this, for 8 years they were a part of the Ministry Team at Lighthouse Christian Centre Wollongong, under the leadership of Ps Bill Beard.

In the 19 years Peter and Melanie have been in Ministry, they have also pioneered a church in Southern Wollongong, coordinated several international conferences, including a crusade for Benny Hinn, travelled to the revival hot spots around the world, and bought several high profile international ministries to Australia.

Peter has a degree in Economics and Business Management. Melanie is a Veterinary Nurse. They have two daughters, Lakeisha and Laura.
